LEAGUE TABLE

 

The league table is for members who enter our competitions throughout the year. If you are unable to bring your wine in person because of another commitment, you can send your entry in with another member. Scoring will recognise effort as well as wine-making expertise, so that everyone gets a fair chance. This will give some of the newer and more inexperienced brewers a chance to win something as well as the more expert amongst us! Prizes will be awarded at the Annual General Meeting each year.

All members are eligible to enter, but to be fair to all competing, please only enter one wine which you have made yourself.

 

To encourage everyone to take part, especially beginners, we run a year long League Table. Most entrants are awarded points, if only for making the effort to take part in the various competitions.

 

The scoring system is:

 

1st Place gets 20 points.

2nd Place gets 15 points.

3rd Place gets 12 points.

4th Place gets 10 points.

5th Place gets 9 points.

6th Place gets 8 points. and so on until 1 point is awarded to 13th place upwards.
